Got a dirty dog? Just Dogs! Gourmet, at City Walk in Woodbury, contains the K9000 self-serve dog wash, a do-it-yourself dog washing facility. This top-of-the-line doggy bathtub allows you to wash, rinse, condition and dry your pooch in just 10 minutes.

Michelle Latulippe-Garcez, owner of Just Dogs, says that several dog owners use the self-serve wash as a primary means of cleaning their dogs, while others use it as a cheaper alternative in between trips to the groomer’s. “The smile on people’s faces when they find us and use the K9000 for the first time is really rewarding,” Garcez says. The process is easy and no reservations are required. Simply bring your dirty dog and a bath towel and let the K9000 do the rest. 

The machine has a built-in nozzle and a rotary switch, allowing guests to select their own top-quality shampooing products. After each wash session, the Just Dogs team uses a high-grade disinfectant before the next pooch enters the facility. The cost of the dog wash is $12 for the first 10 minutes; frequent users can sign up for a loyalty card and receive five washes for $40, a $20 savings.  

Mouth-slobbering doggie treats are also available, and are sure to leave your canine companion drooling for more. These gourmet treats are homemade from all-natural ingredients and are available in a variety of playful dog-inspired shapes and flavors. —Iselin Donaldson
